WALLACEWEIR is a Gold Coast-based law firm which offers commercial and family law advice. While we are a small but growing team, we are focused on offering exceptional, honest, and focused advice to every client that reaches out to us.

When the law firm opened its doors in 2019, we were on the hunt for a legal practice management software system that would work for us from the start and evolves with us as our firm grew - we found this with Smokeball.

During the personalised demonstration, the Smokeball team took the time to answer all our questions about whether the software was right for us and discussed how they could help us achieve our unique firm goals.

We wanted to ensure that the legal software we chose was easy-to-use and seamlessly integrates with other programs we use, such as Microsoft Office. It was also vital that the software was cloud-based, so our team had the ability to access all matter information and documents remotely whenever they needed to. Smokeball ticked all these boxes!

After using Smokeball for several years now we have found the platform to be beneficial in many ways. The software has helped us to better manage workflows, automate administrative tasks, enhance client collaboration with the Communicate platform, and produce legal documents with ease using our existing extensive precedent library.

We also love the ability to link any document (including emails) directly to a matter, the capability to diarise events, and we love utilising widgets and the timeline feature to stay organised and efficient.

The ongoing support and training that we receive from the Smokeball team is also outstanding; we chat with them almost weekly. We have also had Smokeball’s product development team reach out to us personally to obtain feedback about our user experience, which is something we have never experienced with any other software provider. Some of the feature enhancements we suggested have since been implemented into Smokeball.
