I started Edmonds Conveyancing back in 2004, the business has since grown to be one of the largest conveyancing firms on the NSW far north coast. There are now offices in both Ballina and Lismore and a team of five licensed Conveyancers, who are supported by several specialist office staff.

Everyone in the Edmonds Conveyancing team is a big fan of Smokeball software. It’s a logical and user-friendly program designed specifically for conveyancers. It has increased our overall efficiency and due to this, we are now saving at least two hours each day, which allows us to work on more matters.

Before switching to Smokeball, we were experiencing issues with our program at the time. It was glitchy and the customer service was terrible. Support questions were never dealt with in a timely manner and we were made to feel like our opinion didn’t matter. Unfortunately, we were locked into a contract, but I was continually on the lookout for something better until the contract expired.

Smokeball first came to my attention at an AIC NSW Conference where they were an exhibitor. Not long after I started receiving their emails and the many amazing benefits the software offered became very apparent. I only wanted to adopt a software program that had already been tried and tested by fellow conveyancers, so I spoke to others who were using various software solutions. Overall Smokeball had the best reviews of the bunch, so I decided to take them on.

The integrated searching the software offers is brilliant and so quick. It allows you to complete your conveyancing matter electronically from start to finish. You can easily order all your conveyancing searches through the seamless integration with InfoTrack. From Title Searches, automated property certificates, to electronic contracts and eConveyancing. Everything is saved back into the matter and you can compile documents into a single PDF and email off with the click of a button.

Smokeball’s automated forms and precedents have been a major productivity booster for the business. The integration with Microsoft Word means that conveyancing documents automatically fill in with matter information already saved in Smokeball. This eliminates the need to tediously type in or handwrite information before submitting. You will save time and hassle by knowing that you have the most up-to-date documents with accurate information automatically pulled in from the Smokeball file.

Smokeball’s major point of difference though is their remarkable customer support. It’s easy to get in contact with a question and they follow everything up promptly. Plus, they actually listen to you. Every time we speak with the support team, we feel appreciated. This is why we’re a raving fan of Smokeball!
