• It has a more user-friendly layout
• Firms can separately choose to accept service by fax or service by email, rather than the previous choice of electronic service generally
• For family law matters, firms can specify whether their address for service is to be a PO Box or their street address

Amend search:

Critical Date data form on matters:

• On 9 October 2009, some changes in relation to the Critical Date form were made. The changes will take effect after your next online update. The changes mean that for all new matters created, the Critical Date form within the Info/Correspondence tab will no longer display automatically. Please note this does not affect existing matters, only new matters. The Critical Dates form within a matter was a feature of LEAP Documents 2002 that was migrated across to LEAP Documents 2003. LEAP encourages the use of the Critical Date Scheme within the Matter Details and the Agenda system for applicable matters. If you require further information on how to access the Critical Date Scheme or how to use the older Critical Date form, please view the Product Alert in the LEAP National HelpDesk Portal.

• In order to make it easier to find a field from the 'insert field' list in precedents, we have shortened the list of fields that are always visible for cards. If you cannot locate the field you need, check the 'show invisible fields' checkbox to view all available fields. 

Matter type movements:

Following the restructure of the matter types in LEAP Documents earlier this year, LEAP has received some feedback. As a result of this feedback, the following changes have now been made:
