What if I have trouble logging in?
You are automatically asked to log into your Smokeball.com.au account any time you need to access a publication; to review your subscriptions or change your account details. If you have trouble logging in, here are some things to check:
- Incorrect Username: Your username is the username entered when registering for Smokeball.
- Incorrect Password: Your password is the password entered when registering for Smokeball.
To confirm your user name and password call 1300 292 602.
As a tip, selecting the “Remember Me” check box at the sign in screen will record your user name and password details on the computer you are using so you do not have to re-enter them next time you visit Smokeball.
How do I access and manage my account?
If you click on My Products after you sign in (in the grey bar), you will be able to see which products you own. For other account enquiries simply email us at subscriptions@smokeball.com.au or call 1300 292 602.
How do I change my username or password?
To change your user name and password you will need to email subscriptions@smokeball.com.au with your current username and password and your new username or password. We will then send you a confirmation email to you.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Simply email us at subscriptions@smokeball.com.au and we will organise this for you immediately.
How can I update my account details?

Smokeball Pricing
Smokeball publications have three pricing structures:

Purchase price only. You will be charged a one off purchase price. No subscription fee applies.

Purchase price with monthly subscription. Upon purchase you will be charged the purchase price to gain access to the publication. For each calendar month or part thereof that you remain subscribed you will be charged the monthly subscription fee.

Monthly subscription. Upon purchase you will be charged the first month's subscription fee. For each calendar month or part thereof that you remain subscribed you will be charged the monthly subscription fee.
You will only be able to access publications via Smokeball whilst a current subscriber.
Online subscriptions to Smokeball are for individual use only (and are charged the 1-2 user pricing on our Pricing page). If you would like to organise firmwide access please contact us on 1300 292 602.

Once payment has been processed you will be able to access your publication immediately.

Can I save the precedents and forms to my computer?
Yes, however this is subject to the Terms of Use. You must, however, maintain a current subscription to the publication if you wish to have the most up-to-date versions of these precedents or forms.
How frequent are updates?
Smokeball requires its authors to update their publications on a regular basis. The date of the last update is displayed on each commentary page.
Do you provide a hard copy or Printed copy of the Smokeball Publications?
No. Smokeball is designed as an online publishing system, therefore publications are only provided online via the website. Option is provided to print content, or save documents, pages or text for future reference.
Can I suggest content?
Yes, all suggestions for content and additional publications and precedents can be forwarded to feedback@smokeball.com.au
What Internet Browser should I be using?
Smokeball supports Internet Explorer 6 and above.
Which versions of Microsoft Word do you support?
Smokeball supports Microsoft Word 2000 or higher.
How do I navigate through the fields in a document?
By pressing the F11 button you are able to move from field to field and enter relevant data into the forms or precedent.
I would like my precedents to be automated

Can I contact Smokeball authors?
Smokeball provides detailed profiles of all authors. The profiles include contact details of each author, and you are able to contact each author with questions on their publications or precedents relating to your matter. Click here to view our author profiles.
